RGB color and tunable white are different options

The Gen 2 MR16 RGB27 and RGB30 models combine colored scenes with their specified 2700K or 3000K white setting. The BM6FL-CCT MR16 adjusts white light from 2700K to 6500K. PAR36 RGB lamps use a larger lamp format; confirm terminals and housing clearance before selecting them. Do not assume a CCT lamp produces RGB colors.

Check generation and fixture requirements

Match the complete manufacturer SKU, input voltage and electrical load to the installation. The current Gen 2 MR16 models require an enclosed fixture outdoors. Follow each lamp's instructions for setup and controls. A VIVID name alone should not be used to substitute one lamp generation for another.

Extend communication with VIVID-R

Unique specifies VIVID-R for all generations of FLEX GOLD VIVID lamps. It uses a 10–15V AC/DC supply and is added through the VIVID app. The extender improves the communication path; it does not increase transformer capacity or power the lamps. Its published maximum range assumes optimal conditions, so test coverage around walls, planting and other obstructions.
