Southwire 12/2 landscape lighting wire supplies 250 feet of cable for low-voltage outdoor lighting. This reel is listed under Southwire / Coleman Cable part 552690408, also written 55269-04-08. SKU: SWLW12250.
The 250-foot length gives you cable to divide among planned fixture runs. Measure each route and include allowance for connections before ordering.
Select 12 AWG cable using the run length, fixture load and allowable voltage drop. Gauge alone does not establish the number of fixtures a run can support.
Plan each run from the transformer to the fixtures, accounting for branches and the total connected load.
Choose waterproof wire connectors that accept 12 AWG and the actual number of conductors in each splice. Connections exposed to soil or moisture need connectors rated for that use. Browse landscape lighting transformers and compare other gauges in landscape lighting wire.
