Integrated or Commercial Series?
For built-in scheduling, compare the Integrated Series models with timer and photocell. Commercial Series models do not include a timer or photocell; check the selected transformer's instructions before adding controls. A timer switches the lighting schedule and does not automatically provide dimming or app control.
Choose the correct capacity
Add the actual input load of the connected lamps and fixtures, then follow the transformer's loading limits. Check its VA rating, output taps and AC/DC compatibility rather than choosing solely by a wattage in the product name. Cable length and wire gauge also affect voltage at the fixtures.
