Brilliance PAR36 LED Lamps: Replacement Buying Guide
A PAR36 LED replacement needs to match the fixture's lamp space, terminal arrangement, and electrical requirements. More lumens alone will not solve an unsuitable beam or an incompatible supply.
Confirm the existing fixture
Disconnect power and allow the lamp to cool before inspecting it. Record the old lamp marking, fixture label, and connection arrangement. Check the lens, retaining hardware, seals, and drainage provisions. A corroded socket or water-damaged housing needs attention before installing a new lamp.
Choose output and beam together
A broad target may need a wider beam or more than one light position. A narrow beam concentrates light but can create an unwanted bright center. Test the effect from the normal viewing position before choosing the highest-output option.
Check the precise Brilliance model
Review the product sheet for voltage, watts or VA, color temperature, beam, environmental restrictions, and control compatibility. White-light and color-changing models may have different requirements. Do not assume a feature or warranty from another Brilliance lamp applies to the one you are ordering.
Complete the replacement
Use the fixture's approved removal and installation procedure. Refit the lens and seals correctly, then check the result after restoring power. Record the complete replacement SKU and inspect for stable operation. If the new lamp flickers, diagnose the supply and controls instead of repeatedly replacing lamps.
