Choosing the Epic

The Epic is designed around a PAR36/AR36 lamp with fork-terminal connections. Check the lamp format before ordering: MR16 bi-pin lamps do not fit this fixture. The replaceable lamp lets you choose the beam spread and color temperature for your project.

Lamp compatibility

Select a 12V PAR36/AR36 LED lamp suitable for the enclosed fixture. Dauer lists a 12W LED maximum for the Epic housing; stay within that limit even if a higher-wattage lamp appears among the manufacturer’s general lamp options. The housing and included stake do not include a lamp or transformer.

What you need for installation

Lamp and low-voltage transformer are sold separately. Select a compatible 12V lamp within the fixture's wattage limit; the lamp determines light output and color temperature.
