Dauer Astor 490007 Brass MR16 Landscape Uplight

Direct light onto planting beds, foliage, and landscape features with the Dauer Astor 490007. This cast-brass uplight has a weathered brass finish, an adjustable swivel, and a convex tempered-glass lens.

Choosing the Astor

Choose the Astor for an adjustable MR16 accent light with a convex lens and a shroud secured by double O-rings. The standard 490007 uses a fixed socket; it is separate from the 490007-FS floating-socket version.

Selecting a lamp

Use a compatible 12V MR16 LED lamp rated for an enclosed fixture, up to 7W. Select the beam angle for the area you want to illuminate and match the color temperature to nearby fixtures. A narrower beam concentrates light on a smaller feature; a wider beam covers more of the planting.

What you need for installation

Lamp and low-voltage transformer are sold separately. Select a compatible 12V lamp within the fixture's wattage limit; the lamp determines light output and color temperature.
