Match the rating to the lighting load
Use the fixture or lamp input requirements and the transformer's loading instructions. Watts and volt-amperes are not interchangeable for every LED load. Check total capacity, individual circuit limits and any manufacturer-required allowance. Where a product offers several capacities, select the 100W option before adding it to your cart.
Check output voltage, wire and controls
Match AC/DC supply type and the permitted voltage range to every connected fixture. Plan cable gauge, length and load together; increasing transformer capacity does not eliminate voltage drop. Confirm whether a timer, photocell or app controller is included or sold separately, and verify dimming compatibility for the whole system.
