Paige Electric 18/2 landscape lighting wire supplies 500 feet of cable for low-voltage outdoor lighting. Its two stranded copper conductors and direct-burial construction suit connections between a compatible transformer and landscape fixtures. SKU: LWIRE18/500.
The 500-foot length can supply several separately planned lighting runs. Reel length is the amount supplied, not a recommended single-run distance.
Check voltage drop carefully when selecting 18 AWG cable for longer runs or higher fixture loads. The correct gauge depends on the layout, total load and fixture voltage requirements.
Plan each run from the transformer to the fixtures, accounting for branches and the total connected load.
Choose waterproof wire connectors that accept 18 AWG and the actual number of conductors in each splice. Connections exposed to soil or moisture need connectors rated for that use. Browse landscape lighting transformers and compare other gauges in landscape lighting wire.
