Quick disconnect LEDs, onboard dimming and selectable CCT
WAC’s Quick Connect design lets the LED light engine detach from its capstone bracket for service after installation. The 6-inch 7062, 12-inch 7122 and 18-inch 7182 also provide onboard brightness control and selectable 2700K or 3000K white light. The compact 3-inch 7032 is ordered in a fixed color temperature and has neither onboard dimming nor CCT switching.

These standard Quick Connect models operate on 9–15 VAC and need a compatible low-voltage transformer. Size the system using manufacturer VA loads and cable voltage drop. Finish availability varies by size; BZ means bronze on aluminum and BBR means bronze on brass.
Planning an under-cap lighting project
Measure cap overhang and mounting space before ordering. Test a sample at night to judge glare, stone texture and the light pattern before fixing the quantity or spacing. A brighter fixture does not automatically produce a better result on a short wall or beside seating.

Frequently asked questions
Can the LED be serviced without lifting the capstone?
The Quick Connect light engine is designed for removal from its installed bracket. Keep the service area accessible and follow the model’s instructions. Initial installation in an existing wall may still require masonry access.
Does selectable CCT mean color-changing RGB lighting?
No. The standard dual-CCT fixtures select between two white-light appearances. Choose COLORSCAPING for colored lighting scenes.
What else do I need?
Plan a compatible transformer, correctly sized landscape wire and waterproof wire connectors appropriate to the installation.
