Compare lamp-based and Monet configurations
A replaceable-lamp well light lets you select a compatible light source separately where the listing specifies no lamp. Match the fixture's lamp format, voltage, dimensions and permitted power before choosing Unique FLEX GOLD LED lamps. Apollo-family PAR36 options differ from other in-ground housings; one lamp type does not fit the entire collection.
Monet configurations have their own beam and control options. Compare the full SKU, including fixed or adjustable beam details, rather than treating every finish and optical configuration as the same fixture.
Choose the cover and aiming arrangement
Flat, grate and shrouded designs produce different appearances and can affect glare. Select the configuration for the viewing position and subject. Check whether any sleeve, debris guard or accessory is included or ordered separately, and verify compatibility with the exact housing.
Plan drainage and service access
Use the manufacturer's installation instructions for excavation, support and drainage. Keep the lens clear of soil and mulch and retain access for lamp replacement or servicing. Do not assume a recessed fixture is rated for vehicle loads or continuous submersion.
