Pro-Force or direct-burial transformer?
Pro-Force 300W and 600W transformers are designed for permanent hardwired installation. Unique specifies stainless steel construction and 12–24V secondary taps for this family. Select the appropriate tap from measured voltage and the connected equipment's permitted input; a higher tap is not automatically suitable for every lamp.
Direct-burial transformers use a different installation arrangement. Review the selected model's instructions, access requirements and available capacities rather than treating an above-ground transformer as suitable for burial.
Pool and spa models are a separate selection
The 150W, 300W and 600W pool/spa listings have their own application requirements. Confirm the exact transformer and connected fixture compatibility. Do not transfer pool/spa suitability to another Unique transformer solely because its wattage matches.
Size the complete lighting system
Use the manufacturer's electrical load data for every fixture and lamp, then account for circuit limits and cable voltage drop.
