Choose a replacement bulb or an integrated light
Replacement bulbs: Compare G4, MR8, MR11, AR11, MR16, bayonet, wedge and screw-base options. This collection includes both low-voltage and line-voltage bulbs; a matching base does not establish electrical compatibility. Check the exact SKU’s input voltage, dimensions and fixture suitability. EmeryAllen identifies its Turtle Bulb range as non-dimmable, for on/off operation.
Integrated lights: Brilliance amber Light Bars and amber Strip Light combine the amber source with the lighting assembly. Plan the power supply, mounting, shielding and accessories for the exact model. Brilliance requires these amber products to be installed low, shielded, and directed downward and away from the beach.
What makes lighting turtle-friendly?
Light color alone is not enough. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission guidance calls for low mounting and the minimum needed output, long-wavelength light without short-wavelength emissions, and shielding that prevents the source from being visible. An amber-tinted lens over a white bulb or an RGB color setting is not a substitute for a qualifying light source.
Products here are selected from manufacturer-documented turtle or wildlife lighting ranges. Product eligibility does not approve an entire installation. Confirm the exact model, mounting height, shielding and applicable local requirements before ordering. See FWC wildlife lighting criteria and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Match your existing lighting system
For broader replacement options, browse 12V landscape LED lamps, 120V LED bulbs, or all LED lamps and bulbs. Products in those general collections are not all turtle-friendly.
Are “turtle-safe” bulbs safe in any fixture?
No. “Turtle-safe lighting” is a common shopping term, but the source, fixture and installation must work together. Use a compatible, properly shielded fixture and follow the model-specific directions. Contact Atlantic Lighting with your fixture model, voltage and application if you need help narrowing the selection.
