Flood lights or wall wash lights?
Landscape flood lights illuminate broad features such as garden beds and tree canopies. Wall wash lighting spreads illumination across walls and facades. Choose by the fixture's beam pattern and the surface you want to light: a wide beam does not automatically produce an even wall wash. Mounting distance, spacing and aiming affect coverage and glare.
Choose 12V or 120V for your project
Start with the electrical system. A 12V landscape fixture requires a compatible low-voltage supply; check its specified AC or DC input and operating range. A 120V fixture is designed for an appropriate line-voltage circuit. Voltage does not determine brightness or beam width. Compare lumens and light distribution after confirming the required supply.
Compare light sources and included components
Replaceable-lamp fixtures let you select a compatible bulb within the manufacturer's limits. Integrated LED fixtures use a purpose-designed light engine; modular versions use a matching replaceable LED module. Check each listing for the lamp or module, mounting hardware and controls included. Some Lumien configurable flood packages require a separately selected module.
Match the light to the landscape
Compare output, beam spread, color temperature, finish and mounting options. Coordinate warm-white lighting with nearby fixtures, and check individual models for tunable-white or color-changing options. Aim light toward the intended feature to reduce glare into windows and neighboring areas. For narrow accents, browse landscape accent and spot lights.
