Plan a low voltage wall lighting system
These fixtures require a compatible low voltage power supply. Check each model’s AC or DC input, operating range and transformer requirements. Select a landscape lighting transformer for the total connected load and installation requirements; never connect a 12V fixture directly to household line voltage.
Choose the lighting effect
Up-and-down sconces illuminate both sides of a mounting point. Single-direction designs can highlight the surface below or above, where the manufacturer permits that orientation. Compare fixture projection, mounting dimensions and glare control around seating and walkways.
Integrated LED models include the light source. Replaceable-lamp sconces may require separately purchased lamps; check the socket, physical fit and wattage limit. Browse MR16 LED bulbs or G4 and T3 replacement lamps as specified for your fixture.
