Kichler 16142SS mini recessed-light cowl – Stainless Steel

Previous Product | Next Product

Product Description

The Kichler 16142SS mini recessed-light cowl in Stainless Steel shields the light source from rear and side viewing angles. Use it with a compatible Mini All-Purpose recessed light near a walkway or planting bed when reducing visible glare is the priority.

Selection and installation planning

Position the shield with the normal viewing direction in mind, then check glare from the path as well as from nearby seating. Compare the exact cowl dimensions with the surrounding planting and mounting surface. This cowl is not a directional opening top or a complete light fixture.

For a traffic-exposed location, confirm the complete fixture-and-accessory assembly’s suitability before installation; an accessory name alone does not establish a load rating.
