Intermatic DT200LT: Features and Setup Checklist
The Intermatic DT200LT is a digital astronomic landscape timer. Intermatic lists dusk or fixed-time ON options and dawn or fixed-time OFF options, with automatic daylight-saving adjustment. Confirm its suitability for your transformer before installation.
Check the load and enclosure
The manufacturer lists use with low-voltage transformers up to 1200 W. Read the full load ratings and installation requirements; the headline rating does not prove every transformer and enclosure combination is suitable. The timer's input is 120 VAC, so it is not a device to place across a 12V fixture circuit.
Understand the backup function
A timer backup battery supports timing or stored settings as specified. It does not supply operating power to the landscape lights during a utility outage. Follow the instructions for battery replacement and recovery after a power interruption.
Prepare the settings
Have the installation location, desired ON behavior, and desired OFF time ready. Follow the linked instructions for the button sequence. Confirm the clock and daylight-saving settings, test operation, and leave the timer in the intended automatic mode.
